Hey guys,
I'm having severe internet trouble and have been unable to connect from my home PC (I'm at school right now). Anyways, my tray icon says im connected to the internet, but my MSN and Browsers wont connect. When I run the MSN troubleshooter, it says my "Default Gateway appears to be offline". Any advice? No Hipbase for two full days has made me crazy.

try a system restore to before the problem> if not call your provider to get your gateway number reinstalled
might help

Have you got a firewall running?
I had this sort of thing when my firewall decided to block everything connecting.
But hey, I've proved many times I'm no expert :-)

You know what is funny Sean?
We are all giving you advice - and you are sitting at home tonight unable to read it.
Good luck though.

I've been on the phone a total of four hours over these last thhree days with Aliant. The technician is coming Monday to fix it. I'm missing a full four days of "Song Of The Day". So much for my idea of developing a cd library with all of them. Oh well. I just hope its fixed on Monday, so I can get back up on here more often!
