I actually caught his performance last night. When I saw they were doing Stevie Wonder songs, I just knew Hicks was going to do Living for the City. Suits him perfectly, and he nailed it.
I was also really impressed by the dude with the shaved head who did Higher Ground. He's got mad skillz too.

After watching all of this weeks' performances I realized just how much I don't like Stevie Wonder's music...now don't get me wrong the fact that he can perform as well as he does given his disability is phenomenal, he is definitely talented beyond belief...I'm just not a fan of his sound.
And I will finally cave and say that Taylor is really growing on me...I'm pulling for him to take it all...oooh, and that blonde girl too...she's so damn stupid, it's just fun waiting to hear what's gonna come out of her mouth next..."I'm a notty little what???"

I had gotten away from my Panic collection for awhile.....
When I drove to the 'cuse to visit Jenna, I listened to some AC/DC / Hip / Tom Waits on the way there (strange combination). But on the way back, I busted out Ain't Life Grand, Everyday, and Bombs & Butterflies, and wondered how I could let Bell and his boys lie inert in my CD case for so long....
Shame on me!

i hate the rocker dude who tries to take credit for his 'arrangements' on classics..he took stevies higher ground, and did a RHCP version, and tonite his Walk The Line was just like the version Live did...just goes to show how the judges don't have a fucking clue saying things like "i've never heard those songs done that way"...bullshit

I can't wait to see if this ends up being true! What a great call that would have been.
