Scott Weiland isnt even in the same league as Axl Rose when it comes to being a frontman.

Axl's a leafs fan, so he's probably a pussy too and would get knocked the fuck out
seriously though, Axl Rose makes me sick, wig wearing motherfucker.
despite my hatred for Axl though, the article said new G'N'R had been leaked...is this true...if so has anyone heard anything yet?

btw mike, have you heard axl *attempt* to sing in the last couple of years? fucking G'N'R cover band singers sound better than him, he's a fucking parody of his formerself, and an uberdouche to boot.
anyways, you know you're washed up when you resort to suing people *cough* Courtney Love (she need to get washed up literally though, dirty skank! HA!) *cough* Metallica *cough*

What a fight that would be. I figure Weiland has the reach, the only problem is Axl wouldn't feel the punches with his "botox face". In the end I would say Weiland in the 5th by stoppage due to Axl's face just falling right off.

4 demos leaked...they were reportedly from 4 or 5 years ago. They all sound really cool. Titles are Catcher in the Rye, IRS, Better and There Was A Time. Links went down within hours. I'm sure they are out there somewhere. Brian May played on Catcher and it sounds like Buckethead is on the others. Catcher could be a huge song...an absolutely beautiful melody and vocal from Axl....and yes he can still sing...anyone at the ACC show from 2002 can confirm that. He was ON that night.

i just went to www.velvetrevolver.com and checked out the entire "rant" by scott...i love it!
Go to the gym motherfucker, or if you prefer, get a new wig motherfucker. I think Ill resist the urge to stoop to your level. Oh shit, here it comes, you fat, botox faced, wig wearin fuck! O.K. I feel better now. Dont think for a second we dont know where those words came from. Your unoriginal, uncreative little mind, the same mind that had to rely on its bandmates to write melodies and lyrics. Whos the fraud now bitch? Damn, I couldnt imagine people writing for me. How many albums have you put out man and how long did it take the current configuration of this so-called band to make this album? How long? And without the only guys that validated the name. How dare you! Shame on you! How dare you call our bass player spineless. We toured our album over a year and a half. How many shows have you played over the last ten years? Oh, thats right - you bailed out on your long awaited comeback tour, leaving your remaining fans feeling shall we say a trifle miffed?! I wont even list what Ive accomplished because I dont need to. What were talking about here is a frightened little man who once thought he was king, but unfortunately this king without his court is nothing but a memory of the asshole he once was.Yours truly,Scott Weiland

I used to love them, but I had to.... aah, nevermind.
This whole thing is pathetic. Axl needs to grow up and realize that the years of crap have made him lose many fans. I loved GnR. Went to the Hammer to see them in '92 (or was it '93???). Waited for something new. Waited. Waited. Gave up. Now I don't care. VR is allright. I hear alot of Duff and Slash in there, but Weiland just never did anything for me, I don't know why. As for Chinese Democracy, I could care less. For the album to take this long to come out, it must have needed a lot of post work, and that I am not interested in.
Goes to show the damage an ego can do.

Given my prior psuedo rants on GNR you think I'd want to jump right in on this one, but I'm going to bite my tounge.
Oh what the hell -- the last good song Scott Weiland wrote was "Trippin On A Hole in A Paper Heart" (full of Biblical allusions and other metaphors, which is something to be proud considering the ammount of herion flowing through his veins at the time). This was 1996. The last time anyone in GNR made somewhat relevant music was 1987 (the height of hair metal). My money's on Scott (although Axl probably qualifies now for having "old man strength")
Cheers,
Pat
