Good thing I'm on midterm break

I sure don't like these first-come first-serve thing.

Reminds me of Live 8 - I was in the process of moving when tickets went on sale. I ended up paying 60 bucks for a pair of tickets...

Well, good luck to everyone and perhaps we can get a HipBase afterparty going .

Mike

[chris]

Fort York will be general admission.

Chris

Nice first post...Care to elabourate? I have no doubt either but you sounded so sure....

That's just his style... pay a visit to a.m.t-h for reference.

As one post made note of already, the hip are always great with their fans. I would bet that those buying tickets tmrw will receive 'good' tickets, but I wonder if MAV could calm any concerns such as the ones addressed already. If I'm out of line in asking this, I apologize

We'd better be able to organize something - before, during and after!

Hell I've got a partyroom at my condo (Yonge/Eg).

I can't wait to get home.

Damn! I can't make it to that one, but it is difficult to get tix for any of them if I NEVER RECEIVE THE EMAIL!. The only one I got was on 01/18. I've been a registered member. What gives?!? Is it because I'm in the US or my geographic location does not deem me worthy of the email (I live in Buffalo for crying out loud!) I'll have to turn here for my updates.

I would be willing to pay a few dollars a year to insure front of the line treatment free of (most) scalpers! Lets hope First in Lines sets up quick!

Just go to thehip.com. It is right on their homepage. Now I thought this was something that was just announced through the mailing list? Doesn't it clearly say: "before it is publicly announced?" Wouldn't posting the email on the homepage essentially be announcing it to the public? I thought it was just because I was logged in but I logged out and then went the homepage again and sure enough, there it is, posted for the world to see.

I get the feeling tickets might be harder to come by then initially thought...

Yeah, I know. I just feel left out not getting the email.

I am certainly not trying to rub this in because that isn't my style but I just checked my email and I got ANOTHER one from them. One at just after 4pm and then one at 7:10pm. Looks like MAv really wants me to know about the "First in Line" system.

I know your intentions are noble Eldorado, but you are not making me feel better.

Just fired off an email to 'em

Well, I'm trying to make this list i have one all inclusive one, but it takes awhile. If you'e on twice, remove the account that you don't want, it'll be easier.

If you're not geting emails, it's most likely becasue of a spam filter. Doubel check your ISP or your Norton or what ever.

You guys posted the email I sent on this site four times within one minute of it being sent . . . but I will take it down until morning. . . .

The show is General admission. I believe the capicity of the venue is 6000. I got married there, so it holds a special place in my heart. There are a good chunk of tickets.

MAv.

[d_alex_d]

i got 2 emails as well....they must love a select few of us...lol

hoping I can score some tickets, should be an awesome show

[hipkid33]

Thanks Mav.

I'm not sure what was or is blocking them, but I just changed my email to my gmail account. Hope all is well now.

[sabatooch]

Thanks for the info MAv. You rock!!

Just wondering, is there a chance of other bands being added to the bill?
