So, I was at the rivoli last night (Queen/spadina, toronto) for the Alt.dot com comedy show, when I was informed that the hip were in the front having dinner. So, robbin williams was doing a set (he is filming a movie here now) and the hip caught wind of it and came in to watch..everyone but downie was there..it was great watching robbin williams do stand-up right beside paul and rob. I talked to Rob after the show, nice guy as usual, and he said they are heading into the studio in 2 weeks to start recording!! Can't wait boys....Great night in toronto!

Start recording in two weeks? I guess that means this album won't be out until towards the end of the year, no?

Does anyone know if the Hip are recording in Bath..or in Vancouver (Bob Rock's home town I believe?)....I hope that his Bon Jovi influence doesn't come into play! I personally would have liked to hear more studio work done by Adam Kasper.

In a 2004 interview, Downie mentioned that they liked working with Kasper so much, that they were planning on doing another record with him. I initially thought it would be the next one after IBE, but perhaps he meant later down the road, like 2 albums from now. Who knows?
