LOL, the posts were funny as hell on that page. Axl looks hilarious, what a loser.

Like him or hate him, is there a person in the music industry that stirs people up more than him? I mean he's largely been 'away' for over 10 years now and whenever something pops up about him, people can't seem to stop talking, writing or giving their opinion on him - that he's either the greatest rock star ever or a pathetic loser. He certainly does have one of those personas about him. The most common thing people seem to attack him for is that he's fat...those pics don't support that. I mean he is in his 40's now....he ain't a skinny 20 year old anymore. I just find it funny the reaction he seems to get.

Dont get me wrong, I dont dislike the guy, I just think he looks funny with the braids, the "bling" and the jersey. He looks more like a G-Unit member than a hard-core rocker. I was a fan of GnR, but thats all history now, so Im surprised people are so interested in him as well. I wonder if that "chinese democracy" album is just a myth?

I heard that he just filed a law suit against a car dealership. Knowing how big of a douche this guy is, he's probably just making it up.

 Well put!
I agree with Opiated as well, I mean if Axl wants to keep making music and tour thats fine more power to him, but if you want respect as an artist, dont have your lead guitar player wearing a KFC bucket on his head. Its just stupid..

Buckethead is no longer in the band. Once he left Axl re recorded all his parts.
But Buckethead is an amazing player

This is kinda what I'm talking about with Axl and his band. Take a look at what a lot of people would refer to as awful music - Britney, all the pop-punk type bands, Hilary Duff etc...and how people say that for a lot of those types, the music is about sex, or how they look or everything but what really matters - the music.
Now people are giving Axl and his band shit. And for what - how he looks or that the guitar player he had wears a bucket on his head. If you hear his name pop up in any media or tv show or mainstream type forum...that's where it starts and ends - he's fat, washed up, the guys in his band look weird. That's not what it's supposed to be about - it's about the music. So the guy went away and didn't want to be in the spotlight. He's probably a really screwed up guy with a lot of issues to deal with. He's the singer for one of the biggest bands in rock history. Just because he isn't normal seems to make him a target for the rest of the world. I was a big fan of them when they started out. I was weary of the new direction and the fact Slash wasn't around...but I went to the show in Toronto a couple years ago...and it was awesome. The guys in the band can play. Plain and simple. Buckethead was incredible. Sure it's not Slash, but it was great. The new songs were great. Even Slash has said it'll be an awesome album once it comes out.
The whole story is bizarre, make no mistake. But that's GN'R. That's Axl. Always has been...always will One thing's for sure though - people can't stop talking about him.

I sort of put the Axl of today in the same category as the Tara Reid of today- they're way more fun to read about off camera as opposed to anything they do in their respective "careers". I think everyone likes a train wreck or two now and then.
And if you didn't tell me those pics were of Axl I never would have known who that was. How sad.

"Oh My God" from the End OF Days Soundtrack is one of my favourite G'N"R songs, it fucking kicks ass, and IF they ever managed to release new material as good as that song, Axl would still be the shit in my eyes, BUT, if the new shit sucks (which it probably will if Buckethead left) then he truly is a washed up loser...either way he looks like a goof though, come to think of it he always has...
PS: IT WAS ALL ABOUT SLASH! \M/
