Is anyone else finding it extremely difficult to be at work this week? I am finding it next to impossible

Not me... this week has been so incredibly productive, I wish that every week was this good. But sadly, there hasn't been much new business, so I'll gladly take a regular week over this one for that reason alone.

For the last 3 days the only thing getting me through work is being able to watch all this hockey.

I didn't have to go back to work till Wednesday which is nice, but the problem is the mail (Im a letter-carrier) gets backed up and makes things a little more difficult, but I like my job and its been a nice week for weather so I can't complain too much.

It's tough getting back into work. I work at a book store, and nearly every person that's come in this week has been grouchy. I think everybody is finally all tapped out of Christmas spirit.

I think this week in between christmas and NYE should be a natonal week off. How much work really gets done?

Upon discovering this reality upon entering the "world of office work", I began taking this week off every year. I highly suggest doing so yourself. With xmas & NYD holidays, I only had to take 4 days of leave time to avoid the office for 10 straight days!

Good call, esthete. I've done the same myself for the last few years, and it's one of the best decisions I've made recently. This way the holiday season is less stressful because work is not involved, and I enjoy everything much more. Then when I go back to work, I'm refreshed and ready to go. The relatively few vacation days that need to be taken in order to enjoy a relatively long period off are a bonus! :thumb:

i drove by a murder scene in regina over the holidays....home sweet home
