Call me crazy, but if I'm poor and I'm struggling to feed my family, I'm fairly certain that the last place I'd be looking to spend money is by going to the Museum of Civilization. But maybe that's just me.
I will not give up. My face is set,my gait is fast,my goal is heaven,my road is narrow,my way is rough,my companions are few,my guide is reliable,my mission is clear. I cannot be bought, compromised, detoured, lured away, turned back, diluted or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of adversity, negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the pool of popularity,or meander in the maze of mediocrity. I will not give up,shut up or slow down....Blessed Be!

Agreed. :thumb:
Though I have to say that the argument put forth that poor people going to the Museum of Civilization makes them healthier is my highlight of the day.
It's because beanmedic is making an inferred argument that I'm guessing was never intended by his WHO article. Education is a determinant of health - but this has to do with the introduction of universal primary education in impoverished nations, not the public funding of a museum in an advanced industrialist state. A stretch indeed.
