Bloc calls for Team Quebec
#1

I mean it wouldn't be fair to other countries, now would it? Having Team Quebec play, uh, Team Rest of Canada (?) in the finals of every international hockey event :thumb:

Team Canada would still crush. Team Quebec would suck. Even Finland would beat Team Quebec. Quick, name seven good Quebec-born d-men. It's a struggle, isn't it? The only position where Team Quebec would be better is goalie. Team Quebec's D would be super thin. Team Canada's offense would be WAY deeper.

How do they know all the Quebec born players would want to play for a Team Quebec anyway? Seems stupid to me, I hope they do it just so I can see them get creamed every game and laugh. If they want to do something positive in Quebec try getting the Nordiques back, man I miss that rivalry.

Imagine a world before the "beginning was the word.”

Can I just dress 4 and play them 30 minutes each? Smile

I guess Desjardins, Bergeron, Boucher, Breeze-By, Dandenault, really starting to strech now..., Robidas. Damn, are there even 7 in the NHL?

Does the fact that you can call Brisebois "Breeze-By" even mean that he counts as a good d-man? I guess he's competent, but if I'm a forward on any other team looking at that group of d-men, I'm licking my chops, not shaking in my boots.

Remember when Duceppe wore that funny hat a few years ago while touring a cheese factory and looked like a complete tool? His "Team Quebec" comment is almost as stupid as that.

Term of affection I guess. It was always great to see him on the ice whenever the Habs came to town Smile

Nobody was happier than me to see him leave, he was useless.
