I had this problem for a while yesterday and then again today about 10 mins ago I couldnt get on the hipbase, this is the message I got..
phpBB : Critical Error
Could not connect to the database

That must be my host, they have a seperate server just for databases. The site can still run but the site needs a database to function. If you get the error just try again in a few minutes. Nothing I can really do about it.

I get that error 3 out of 5 times I come to the site.

It happens quite a lot, but all I have to do is hit refresh and the page loads up. Strangely, it only happens at work. I have a 6 meg cable connection there, and a 3 meg DSL at home...
I'll see how it goes over the next few days and let you know.

I never have any errors, but it still won't save my log-in and password, I have deleted all the cookies and everything.
