Im so glad they made Batman the way he's supposed to be, Christian Bale is the best Batman ever. I didnt mind the first Batman with Keaton but the others after were garbage.
I cant believe it took this long to make another Indy movie, but it looks promising, should be fun.
Im so pumped for Dark Knight, Ill never get tired of Batman, he rules all superheroes!

I hear that man, I can't wait to see it. Apparantley over the last several months I've been promising different people that I'd go see it with them so I have about 3 or 4 different groups of people that I could go see it with, however; the girlfriend also wants to go see it so as I'm sure many of you know, I'm being made to wait until she's free and it looks like that won't be until monday(ish). I'm less than pleased. Ah well, she's a huge Batman fan so I know I won't miss opening night on that one. Don't give away too many plot points!

I went and caught a midnight screening of Indy 4 on Wednesday night, and I thought it was great. The first half of the movie is fantastic. It's everything the originals were and worth the price of admission alone. Great thrills and a couple of kick-ass chase scenes. It loses some steam at about the half-way point, but then picks it up again towards the end. Not sure if I liked the sci-fi element. It seemed a bit out of place for an Indiana Jones flick, but that's a minor complaint. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. During the opening sequences I felt like I was 12-years old again. I think I'm gonna have to give this one a second viewing.

I just got back from the movie and you basically took the words out of my mouth. Fun movie lots of action, the ending was a little out there, still a great fun movie. Go see it.

Too much CGI for me, which made the first 3 so great...not as bad as it could have been though. I was worried it would be like waiting all these years to sleep with Alyssa Milano, and finding out she was a guy

I guess I saw a different movie than you guys did.
I thought the plot was ridiculous, the writing was weak and the fight scenes were terribly drawn out and over the top. Was I entertained...yes but I really felt the movie fell short of my expectations and maybe that is my problem but the 3 other people I was with had the same sentiment.
Of all of the archaeological stories they could have gone with they chose aliens??? I guess this is how big fans of Star Wars felt after Episode 1: The Phantom Menace.
Overall I give it a 5/10. This score is buoyed by a better than expected performance by Harrison Ford...he still kicks ass.

This thread has nothing to do with the Dark Knight (which deserves its own forum,. let alone thread), and i suggest it be removed from the title...
it already has its own thread too i think...
couldn't care less about Indy, i'll see it eventually anyway though.
