Has anyone else picked up Lullabies to Paralyze?

they're one of the best rock bands around..they make albums, not just a few good tunes to play on the radio...they kick ass live, and they play from the balls...lulllabies is great, i would reccomend picking up the cd "rated R"....to me still the best they've put out

I was a little disappointed in it personally... I didn't think it was as good as Songs for the Deaf. However, it has been a while since I listened to it, so maybe I'll give it another listen again soon.

I used to think they were ok, but after Lullabies to Paralyze came out I became a fan, my favorite song off the album right now is "burn the witch" I love that tune! Great album, Im all about music thats different and progressive, Im sick of all those creed-nicklecrap clones out there. Bands like QOTSA and The White Stripes are what Im loving right now.. :thumb:

This album took me a lot longer to get into. With the others I was hooked almost straight away, but this one....
If you get a chance, check out Josh in a previous band 'Kyuss' and you can see where the QOTSA sounds came from.

kyuss is a great band..ever heard any of the dessert sessions??

I bought 8/9 (or is it 9/10) but that was only due to PJ Harvey guesting rather than the JH connection.
Again an album that took me (even) longer to get into.

yeah..some of those albums are a little out there, but it's so good once it takes you over..as for PJ, she rocks!!!!
