The promoter of the show said that there was room for 21 performers on the show. Yesterday the 21st act was announced as being DMC of Run DMC. I was hoping for a big name to be announced as the last performer. I'm thinking that battling the traffic on the 400 isn't going to be worth it to see 15 minute sets from a few bands that I want to see.

im with ya on this one...i had no idea the sets were so short...I heard the concert goes until 11pm though and not 8, and if you take the time of 12 hrs, or 720 minutes and divide by the number of bands 21 that 34 minutes/band for setup and performance...and thats if everything goes smoothly!!
dang this is gonna be a hard decision...do you think neil will get a longer set closing the show?

I don't think anyone will get longer sets. I think Pink Floyd are headlinging the London show and they only get to play a 3 song set.

I read in the Toronto Star this morning that one of the acts has pulled out (Tegan and Sara), opening up another slot...or additional time for the existing bands??
With all the bands in and around Toronto this weekend (Sloan, 5440, Billy Talent, Alexisonfire, Boy, etc), you wouldn't think it would be a problem to fill one or two slots...
