Oh - HE'S GUILTY - The Prosecution just didnt prove it. All I can say is - any parent that allows their child near him (Micheal Jackson)- should have them taken away and declared unfit.

It's not a surprising verdict...when was the last time a California jury convicted a entertainment celebrity of anything serious?? Like KittieKat said, the prosecution dropped the ball and the defense attorneys were able to make the boy and his mother look like schmucks.

If it was a regular Joe or Jane making a stupid judgement calls like sleeping with a minor and/or providing them with alcohol to take advantage of them, the odds of conviction would be much much higher. I was blown away by the not guilty verdicts for the lewd acts and the alcohol charges, the conspiracy charge could have gone either way.

I'm on the fence with this one. My sister told me she read some court document (on smokinggun I believe) in which it stated that the boy was able to accurately describe a birthmark Jackson apparently has right next to his genitals. This raises some concern..of course there might be other ways he could have found out this information but it still seems odd. The story just doesn't make sense...no sense at all.

There are all kinds of things you could teach your children after this case. You could reinforce the idea about personal identity and how it's never ok for anyone to touch you in a way that you feel is innappropriate. It's never ok to sleep with an adult other than his/her own parents. It's never ok to take alcohol from an adult. It's never ok to lie about something that didn't happen. It's never ok to try to take advantage of someone for financial gain or you risk what happened to this family.

As a parent, there are all kinds of things to learn as well. #1 should be that you should never allow your child to be in a situation where something like this could possibly happen. That's where you as the parent make the difference. My wife and I are going to make it extremely clear to our daughter that it is always ok to tell us if someone does something that she doesn't feel good about. We are going to educate her about what is appropriate and what is not. We will tell her that we will ALWAYS believe her if she comes to us and let her know that it is safe to do so.

I think this was the right verdict. The family who made these claims have a shady past and have ripped off others.

I think Jackson has some serious problems. But I dont think this was the kid or family to use to nail him.

Great justice system eh? They didn't even find him guilty on giving alcohol to minors!!!! Ridiculous verdict IMO but it doesn't really matter either way. Michal Jackson belongs in jail just for sleeping with boys IMO but whatever. The prosecution maybe tried a poor case. Whatever the reason, he was found innocent. Those losers who apparently came from Sweden, Denmark, etc to wait outside the courtroom for the verdict should be put in jail for being themselves. Who the hell travels hundreds or thousands of miles to stand outside the courtroom of a freak? Also, why the hell does MJ get away with taking his sweet time to get to court?? They seemed to take forever to get to the courtroom. He should have been in contempt at the very least. I wish nothing but bad things on Michael Jackson. Sorry, but it's true.
