Stop being such an asshole. We've discussed this bullshit in private. If you don't like it just leave it the f**k alone! Why is it you always treat me like this?! Do you have something against me!? WTF!? WTF HAVE I DONE TO YOU BUT ARGUE!? Are ya jealous because I have the hots for Gord Downie?

How about you know you're addicted to the hip when you defend this fucking band like they're god damned gods and you take this whole hip fan thing and this forum WAY too seriously.

I'm not naming any names. :rambo:

And (this isn't directed at anyone in particular) YES, I'm addicted to the hip. Isn't everyone else on this forum? I have an addictive type of personality. If I like something I lot I stick with it and ya know what? All that time I was unemployed the hip were a good way to distract myself and I still enjoy listening to them on my commute to work and my commute home.

At least I'm not out commiting crimes or like stalking them. I just go overboard when I like something! Anyone got a problem with that?! Tongue

hey..originally all i said was perhaps it's best to edit your posts rather than a bunch of posts in the same thread...for some reason that was taken as a personal attack.....i do have a problem with you thinking that i'm out to get you...believe me...i don't have the time, or energy...

Hey easy Bra,

Just commenting on the post above and his statement on rednecks with computers.

Dude, I'm an exiled chicagoan living in Kansas City, Missouri. If anyone on this site is qualified to make a statement on "redneck culture", believe me, it's me.

Peace Sling Blade!

oh no. sorry dude. no problemo. I suppose on a level my comment was infact ignorant. My buddy is from a farm in central illinois, and is constantly reminding me that just b/c some one drives a pickup, likes nascar and listens to country, does not make them an ignorant redneck.

I know I said that I would not say anything else but it seems like we're finding common ground now.

I don't think you're "out to get me" you just keep nit picking me and it's really quite annoying. Stuff like that you could keep to yourself or even PM me about. What Billy said was totally a joke and you took it and made it personal.

Maybe I took it a bit too personally and I'm sorry. You know I sometimes tend to be a bit too over sensitive I mean GAWD I'M A WOMAN  I think it's becoming "that time" of the month. Also, I worked 18 hours of overtime this week and from from what I hear it's only going to get worse as the summer progresses that on top of the fact I have a cold and I'm sunburned, I'm feeling pretty miserable.

I'm sorry. That's one of the things that sucks about the internet, it's easy to take people the wrong way.

I agree with this. I grew up in a small town just north of Plattsburgh, NY population about 9,000 where pick up trucks, trailers, NASCAR and country are HUGE. My Dad is what you would call a "redneck" and he's a bit ignorant but when my momma left my daddy I lived with my momma and she didn't raise no fool.

PS: I like NASCAR and some country and I have dated guys who drive pickup trucks. HELL, my Aunt owned one for a while. I was also married to a farm boy! Now, I'm country girl with a city atittude living with a city boy with a country atittude in a town even smaller than my hometown

My apologies for my insensitivity. It's just that a good part of my job is tech support, and i've had personal experience with trying to fix rednecks' computers over the phone. I'm sure not all rednecks are computer-illiterate (hell i'm one of the exceptions) but the vast majority of those who call me are.
