ps: back to back shutouts for the Yankees, big first wins for Wang and Brown, and more HR's for A-Rod, Martinez, and Posada too.

How come you responded to everybodies post but mine?

On a post that started out with a decent (if not slightly fellatious) review of a band who I have personally never heard of, I am very impressed that it has touched on (at times with much vulgarity) such topics as the New York Yankees, the NHL lockout, the World Cup of Hockey (and its validity), various HipBase junkies hatred of a certain Yankees Fan and his reciprocating distaste for them, and, most recently, that Yankee fan's mother.

Anyone care to bring the sponsorship scandal into it?

God damn conservatives. I didn't vote liberal, but give them a break. Ya, this whole situation is bad, but why bother wasting MILLIONS more on an election right away? Wait until the results come out and try to get something done in the meantime...

hehehe, give them a break, sure so they can go spend millions more of your money to hold onto power. No offense to those who vote Liberal but Mr. Dithers and his gang are turkeys and should be treated as such. Tongue

Good call VLH... the whole "wait for Gomery to rule" plea by the Liberals is a diversionary tactic. I'm smart enough to decide from hearing the testimony to date that the Liberal machine is a corrupt one and needs to be removed from office... I don't need Justice Gomery to tell me that! The longer Mr. Dithers and the Libranos stay in power, the worse off Canada is.

But I am sure proud of a couple of other Canadians... Steve Nash winning the NBA MVP is fantastic! And Rick Nash is having a phenomenal World Championship tournament... hard to believe he is only 20.

Ummm... what was this thread originally about anyway???

we won't be any better off if we vote the Conservatives in though, we'll be America's biatch in two seconds flat if Harper ever gets in...i am going to state once again that i think we should all vote NDP in the next election, Jack would make a better Primeminister than any of the other candidates, and if you look at their platform, and party history, i think that their values should appeal to the majority of Canadians...

Last Monday I was flying from Toronto to Calgary and Jack was behind me at the security check. It cracked me up the number of people who would say: "Hi Jack!" (you know, being the airport and all).
