Apparently "Magically Hip" is at The Dufferin Galleria tomorrow (May 7). I was driving up Dufferin Street last night, and saw a billboard advertising "Magically Hip at the Galleria - May 7"
For those not in the know... Dufferin Galleria is a mall (some call it shady, some call it sketchy) just west of the downtown core in Toronto.
Does anyone have any idea what "Magically Hip" is all about? Or has anyone ever heard of it/them?

For some reason, after visiting this website all I can think of is the following exchange:

Never been to the Dufferin Mall. Might just have to go slumming this afternoon.

As president of my student association I was often approached by them to do shows. I remember I specifically reserved money for them just because of their name...but adminitration wasn't too keen on it, so it never happened.
Anyways, I have a promo cd from them and various other stuff. I remember posting about them a long while back.
Its funny whenever you catch a hip-thing in the damnedest of places.
