In the latest Ten Club (Pearl Jam's fanclub) newsletter Jeff Ament wrote a letter to the fans and said they are looking forward to playing some "new places in Canada". Most people seem to think that means a proper Canadian tour.

That's great news! If they're serious, I'm guessing they'll probably do the standard cross-Canada tour that every other band does, which almost always includes Victoria, Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg, Ottawa, Toronto, and Montreal. For those living in Saskatchewan, it's an easy road trip to either Calgary or Winnipeg. Everybody's happy! (well, except those who live on the east coast where bands rarely make the trip, which is sad)

Oh god...don't even say that! Now I have my hopes up before anything is even official. Geez, the new album isn't even out :lol: I would seriously be the happiest person on the planet if they ever came here.

They have been talking about that on the radio a lot lately....especially since he said he owed Winnipeg a rain check from the Junos. This would be the perfect opportunity for him to come a play a song or two with Pearl Jam. That would just be amazing.

As for a new album update Jeff Ament was interviewed during the Sonics game Saturday night and he said that the album would be out September/October. Hopefully with today's tour dates rumour the album will come out either September 6 or the last Tuesday in August and then they'll hit Canada. I don't really see them touring without the album being out yet.
