just can't stop listening to: Indie Music.
I fucking hate commmercial radio so much. It is at the point where I'd rather listen to talk radio then the shit that comes through the airwaves nowadays. I thought Early 80's music was pur hell on the the radio dial. This is equally bad.
I spend as much time as possible searching through new music websites, and checking out local talent. I am much more intrested in finding that hidden gem that nobody else has heard then listening to Nickleback every hour on the hour.
There is some great shit out there. Give it a listen.

One CD that simply won't stop kicking my arse is Elvis Costello's 'The Delivery Man.' It has repaid endless relistenings and seems to get better each time---a very rare virtue, that (and that band, The Imposters, has a legit claim to Best Band in the World standing---as even U2 will concede :thumb: )

the killers are terrible, franz ferdinand are decent at best, ditto for the trews...
if you want to hear some good, exciting, refreshing, unique, and memorable rock music check out:

Black Rice, The Sourkeys, Statues, C'mon, The Doers, All Purpose Voltage Heroes, Chore, Kary, Wintersleep, The Illuminati, Sea Of Green
International acts:
Dredg, The Grand Silent System, Pinback, Year Of The Rabbit, The Postman Syndrome, Cave-In, All Parallels, Behold...The Arctopus, Quitter, The Kinison,
any of those bands blow away anything new on the radio or tv (unless you're lucky enough to catch a rare tv appearance, or hear em on college radio) (not including established acts like Green Day, Judas Priest, Queens Of The Stone Age ect.).

killers are awful, trews are mediocre, they only seem good compared to the other garbage that gets played on teh radio. both annoy the fuck out of me.
