here are a couple of sites that host torrents...

Missed your favourite TV show, it's here: http://www.btefnet.net/

Interested in seeing amateur videos of the Tsunami's: http://www.waveofdestruction.org/videos/torrents/

Here's a good tracker tracker.

and of course Suprnova may be dead, but you don't have to look very hard to find the clones.

I already posted this in another thread, but it's my "oops" thread so I doubt people will see it.

Can anybody access Loki? It's been locked up since yesterday, as far as I can tell. Hope to god it hasn't been shut down - they seemed to be making a legal defense out of fan donations, rather than just closing down wholesale like all the others.

I have a couple Bit Torrent questions....

1. Is there any way I can put all of my active downloading torrents in some sort of folder so that they don't just sit on the bottom of my screen on the toolbar?

2. Is there a way to improve the speediness of the download?

If you see a green light in your download window (that is, if you're using Bit Tornado), then you can't do anything more. Most downloads do crawl...even ones with tons of seeds and leechers. I have never understood what makes one torrent with 40 people on it download at 165 k/s and another download at 4 k/s.

If you see a yellow light, it probably means you're firewalled. If that's the case, I can't help. I spent 8 months behind a firewall and never solved it...I literally had to move houses before I got normal service back! But my point in posting was, if you see a green light, everything is as it should be and you're just choosing torrents that happen to move slow.

Certain bittorrent programs will hang at the bottom of the screen.. I personally use BitComet, and have never had a problem with it, it doesn't slow your computer down like Azerus does...

Bumping this up with a comprehensive list of torrent sites.

Some have been shut down recently (ie Loki) but most should still work.
