Hi guys...I just got word that we (The Hugh Dillon Redemption Choir) are having the pristine pleasure of opening for The Hip at Copps, along with The Weakerthans.

Needless to say, I am so excited...I hope to meet many of you there!
I thought you guys should know first.

Cheers,
Derek Downham (the drummist)

Sweet!

[Stephen Dame]

Yes, Yes, Yes. Made my night... Congrats boys, looking forward to seeing ya again. Oh, and if I may be THAT asshole one more time... ahem: TWEETER!

[Littleproud]

Lol...get in line!

Lol...get in line!

Seriously, the set in Kingston was good enough that I'm loking forward to a "Tweeter free show" in the Hammer. A buddy of mine in Lethbridge, also a big former Headstones junkie, is making the trip and just e-mailed me back JACKED about getting to see you guys, so here's to breaking a leg!

What an incredible gig

Best of luck to you!

Good God, does Ticketmaster accept kidneys or souls as payment for such an event?

Yes, but the convenience charge is ridiculous.

Dear god in heaven, is this actually true? The Hip and the Weakerthans in the same freakin' show? Can you say multiple EARgasms??!! Two of the most brilliant lyricists in rock n' roll together at last. It was only a matter of time before this finally happened. And adding Hugh Dillon to the mix just makes it that much more incredible. I'm officially jealous of every single one of you lucky bastards who are attending this show.

Maybe I'm just tired, but those two comments have yet to make me stop giggling.
