No doubt. Would be great for the poor sods that couldn't get tix / are under the age limit / don't live near these places and can't get there.

Especially if these follow Ft. York form and have no (or minimal over 4 days) repeats. Could be epic shows.

I hope they do tape these shows and release them, for the people who cant be there its the next best thing to being there. To have a sweet sounding boot of the show you were at is also a bonus. I dont know why they dont copy the PJ model, it rules.

If only that second Fort York show could see the light of day, you want to talk about epic's, that show was one of the best Ive ever seen. Ill gladly shell out for that piece of history anyday.

I would like it if you would be able to buy maybe a 5 concert bundle at a record store. I would like this better than the livedownload thing, because people with a slow internet connection are virtually unable to obtain livedownloads. I think it is also better to see professional printing done on the album artwork & CD itself, rather than you're average desktop bubblejet printer. just my opinion but maybe more people feel this way..

I see where your coming from, but the problem with that is it will require the cd's to manufactured and shipped and that will in turn cost more. The great thing about buying them online is its alot cheaper and if the band releases all the shows you can pick the ones you want. If I had a slow connection, I would just get a friend, relative or fellow hipbaser with a fast one to do it for me and pay them.

I do see your point and I guess its all about your situation but when it comes down to it, its always hard to please everyone. Ill be happy just as long as they release shows I dont care how.

I don't know what happened to the Livedownloads idea - it was fantastic. Now we have Live 10 on iTunes, which is great, but not as great as Livedownloads was, as you don't get the songs in the context of the show and you have to deal with the devil's DRM.

I thought the Hip were doing a fantastic thing with Livedownloads and I had hoped they'd have kept them up. Man would I have loved to see the summer fling shows, especially the Fort York shows (second night) released that way.

I would have been happy to see any Hip concert released this way again...Livedownloads was a great idea, and I had my fingers crossed for a long time that more shows would be released this way, but since it has been roughly 2 years since the 2nd & 3rd releases, I doubt they'll be doing it again. I'd would much rather a livedownloads.com show every 2 weeks than a mix of 10 individual songs through iTunes, but as they say, beggars can't be chooser.
