Saw it in The Hamilton Spectator today (page Go5)... more details to come.
Also a friend of mine spoke to Rob Baker in New York and he said the same thing.

The first time was just about perfect, Gord belting out "Well worth the wait!" as the balloons fell at midnight.
It'll be tough to top, but I'll glady make the twenty minute trek from my parents place again... who's up for the roadie?

Who would think that Hammering the New Year would be a tradition?

I'm going to try to include it in my NYE plans this year. Last time I just did the 30th.

For anyone that was lucky enough to see them the last NYE show in Hamilton... did they play through midnight? Was it insane?!
Maybe a silly question, but you never know!
Cheers!

I was there, it was totally insane! It was better than the millenium show in Toronto I thought, except some idiot pulled the fire alarm in our hotel and we couldnt get to our room. If they do Hamilton again Ill be back! :thumb:

Oh.... well, I am glad that they will play NYE- that is what everyone seems to desperately want. I can't go on NYE, so I was really hoping for another date...... oh well.....I'll get over it... (with time, I'm sure...!)
To everyone who ends up going NYE, well I don't need to wish you a good time... that is inevitable!
Cheers,

I called this back in July!!!
My post from July 28th:
"Posted: Wed Jul 28, 2004 10:11 am Post subject: THE HAMMER?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm thinking The Hammer will definitely be back again this year, any thoughts.... "
NYE was on my mind then and is now, I'll be there.

If anyone has the chance to see a new year's show, I highly recomend it. I was lucky enough to be in the front row at the ACC getting covered with confetti. Cant wait for Toronto and London! 28 shows attended so far.
