Best tour ever. I went to the Ottawa and Montreal shows.
Sometimes I browse through the setlists, why didn't they release a DVD of this tour? That would have been awesome.

Why won't the link to hear Penguin work? I've never heard this song live.

^ That site has been up for 4 years now, I'm not sure the video clips are still there (??). The clip for the Mtl show was 'Montreal'! I was blown away when they played it.
If they had released mp3s for this tour I would have bought almost every one of them. So many cool songs played on this tour.

I saw both the Ottawa and Erie, PA shows on that tour. The diversity of the setlists was a Hip fan's wet dream come true. I also really enjoyed the different dynamics that Chris Brown and Kate Fenner added to the songs. Kate's lead vocal turns on Scared and Flamenco were definite highlights. Damn that woman can belt out a tune!

^Kate sang a whole verse in 'Yawning' at the Mtl show also. From the 2nd 'one night in El Paso' all the way until 'waiting for you to resurface'. The crowd loved it.

Did anyone ever compile the videos of individual songs taken on that tour through the contest onto a DVD set?
Also, did the video for Montreal have better sound than the AUD we're familiar with?? I would kill for a clearer version!

There was something special about that tour, something I'm not sure it could (or should) ever be like that again. Shows 2-4 were in this tour for me, and it's really hard to think of all the highlights. Boots or Hearts with the piano, Kate on Flamenco, the audience participation on Courage and the thunderous applause afterwards and before LTR and the burning church before Fire in TO (not to mention the "water's on fire" after NOIS) Sherpa and Titanic (and Lionized and the Wherewithal) in Hamilton, Penguin, Looking, Pigeon, and lines from Christmas Time In TO on the 23rd, plus Tiger, plus the drum destroying versions of On The Verge. What a tour. What a band.
I can't wait for the 26th.
Cheers
Pat
