I'll definitely go check it out now. :thumb:
I'd check it out for sure. Might not be everyones cup a tea but everyone I've talked to that's seen it, loved it. It's a great love story and it's something totally fresh, I've never seen anything like it. :thumb:
Let me know if you like it.
grooveless touque Wrote:Mystic River was pathetic. A blatant attempt to manipulate and evoke emotions instead of allowing intellectual values to do it. There was no "thinking" between the movie's intent and its effect on the sympathetic viewer - it was meant specifically to make you cry for these people in their melodramatic emotional flailing (though Tim Robbins was better by half than Sean Penn) and I cannot give it any credit for that. It makes it pretentious despite its superficiality.

I just got back from watching Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and I loved it! What an endearing story, Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet play such great characters. I was scared Kirsten Dunst was going to screw up the movie for a bit but luckily that didn't happen. This movie could be a possible Oscar nominee me thinks.

I haven't seen it yet, but from what I understand is that he gorged himself on McDonalds, everyday. Is it seriously fair to blame a restaurant for that kind of eating behaviour?? I don't typically eat any kind of fast food anyway but it just seems unfair to blame a restaurant. I do want to see the movie though, just out of curiousity.
