There is no real stage set on the American tour as there has been on other tours. The Canadian fans may get one on The Hip's arena tour. Who knows? Basically the crew sets up the bands gear and brings the same lighting set up which is very capable for large venues. That lighting set is a bit of overkill for the smaller venues, but the crew has adjusted it so it is not as blazing and blinding as it was early in the tour.

There is a photo at thehip.com that will show you the (probable) lighting rig for arenas. I think it's from Darien Lake.

I liked the M@W lighting, especially when they would play Tiger the Lion, all that flashing green was pretty cool. I love a good light show. But I think bands like Kiss, take it a little too far with the fireworks and flames, its too much like a circus or something. Tongue

I've found the light "show" during My Music At Work this tour to be a little cheese...I mean, pink lighting? Anybody else notice this? My two cents...
