I was disappointed by GWH, although that's probably because I watched it after many recommendations, so I had high expectations.
Badder Santa looked like the stupidest movie ever when I saw its previews and the only reason I even gave it half a chance is because the girlfriend's parents wanted to see it and all my friends said it rocked. I can honestly not remember the last time I laughed as hard as I did when I watched that movie. The scene that Douglas mentioned with Billy Bob and the fat kid is just hysterical. Think of the funniest movie you've seen, remove any one-liners, slapstick and/or situations that seem too unrealistic and add in a very basic diaologue into a very basic plot and that's Badder Santa. So funny!
Another movie I rewatched lately is The Game with Michael Douglas. A lot of people say they don't like it, but I'm not sure why. If you haven't seen it, check it out.

Badder Santa - hilarious!!!!!
Picture a kid on Santa's lap.
"Hey kid, what do you want for christmas?"
"I want a Fraggle Stick"
"What the f**k is a Fraggle Stick?"
"We're forced to bed, but we're free to dream"

Loved Kill Bill even though martial arts movies have never been my thing. Big Tarantino fan though. Is it still cool to say that these days? lol
Kill Bill 2? Not so much.

Personally, I thought Kill Bill 2 was even better than 1.
As for movies, if you haven't checked out the John Grisham movies yet, you should:
The Client/The Firm/A Time to Kill
They're not the newest of movies but they're great; good plots, solid casts. :thumb:

One of the best comedy's I've seen is "Best In Show" Most of it was done with a rough ideas and then improved, funny funny stuff. It's along the same lines as Spinal Tap. Also really funny.
As for more recent movies... I totally agree with Bad Santa, rally funny. Kill Bill 1 and 2 are top notch, I'd agree with Kim there, I think Kill Bill 2 was better.
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is hands down the best movie I've seen in the last couple year. Jim Carry's brilliant in it.
I'm sure there's a lot I'm forgetting at the moment.

I have to comment on the Kill Bill movies. I loved them both, but for different reasons. The first movie is obviously the kicking-ass movie, and for that reason, everyone should see it. Great sequences. The second movie has one of the best endings I've seen to a movie in a long long time. Being a parent myself, it hit me right here...

A couple of British lighthearted comedies rank among my all time favourites...
Brassed Off is the story of a colliery band making it to the national championships in the face of the NCB closing their coal mine, and the human tragedy of the loss of home and community and even families being destroyed by it is wonderfully offset by the humour of the band. Pete Postlethwaite's performance as the bandleader is one of the best roles ever, equal parts darkly cynical and darkly humourous.
And Waking Ned Devine is one of the most wonderful "classically British" movies I have ever seen. This 80 year old guy in a tiny Irish town wins the lottery and dies from the shock, and the whole town comes together to pretend he's alive so they can share the money. It's absolutely hilarious, all tongue-in-cheek, and I can't recommend it highly enough.
