Does the Hip normally play annual new years shows?
#1

and if so where are they traditionally held?

also, what is the likely hood of more dates being announced for mid or late dec. or early next year?

I have been a fan for 12 years, still haven't had the oppertunity to see them live.. and if I miss this spokane show I will be bummed if I can't see them soon Cry

They've had a few New Years shows. The last few have always been in Hamilton.

Back in 1999-2000 they had one at the ACC in Toronto.

If they do a New Years show I would almost say there is a 100% chance it would be in or around Toronto.

There haven't been annual NYE shows, but '99 and '02 saw big arena shows... there's also a pretty famous Ottawa NYE bootleg floating around from '88 I believe.

The Hamilton Spectator has confirmed that this years NYE show will be at Copps.

Copps Coliseum, home to the "Hammer in the New Year" Shows on Dec 30 and 31 2002.

Hamilton, Ontario. It's about forty minutes west of Toronto, right close to Fort Eerie, Buffalo, Niagara Falls.
