On the other hand, I hate Columbus day because he didn't discover America HE INVADED IT! :x
Anyway :mrgreen: ......I was wondering. Is your Thanksgiving like our Thanksgiving? Do you eat turkey and all the fixins like stuffing and potatoes, etc and do you watch Football? Do you have any special traditions for the day, like for our Thanksgiving I almost always watch the Macy's Parade.

Don't worry, he actually "invaded" the West Indies... never stepped foot on America. He was the first guy to refuse to stop and ask for directions.
And Hey: at least your fairy tale is cool... our Thanksgiving holiday started when the Prince got sick, then got better, and we all gave thanks... no, not THAT Prince... although it woulda been cool to worship "Purple Rain" for a day.

I am an American with a Canadian mother. Therefore I have some Canadian relatives and I do possess dual US/Canadian citizenship. Because of this I have been lucky enough to have two Thanksgiving dinners almost every year.
Happy Thanksgiving to all the wonderful Canadians on this board! Enjoy your day off from work and your long weekend. As has been stated, it is Columbus Day here. It is a day off from work for all US Federal employees and those who work at banks. For the rest of the working American public it is just another MONDAY. :roll:
