A buddy of mine sent me this link this morning and I laughed my ass off. Some people have way too much time on their hands. Enjoy!

Malkin dislocated his shoulder. His whole breaking in to the NHL was more anti-climactic than everyone expected.

From John Buccigross column on espn.com
He ranks the eastern conference and assigns song lyrics to each team:
2. Buffalo Sabres
"Martyrs don't do much for me
Though I enjoy them vicariously
After you
No, after me
No, I insist, please after me"
--"Twist My Arm," by Tragically Hip
The Sabres should keep rolling this year with a young, fast team. Ryan Miller is the best goalie in the Northeast Division. The Sabres have the team, led by Miller, that should have a very good divisional record. Why they gave Tim Connolly a three-year contract and let Jay McKee go, I'll never know. But, this team is based on up-front speed and a really good goalie. The Sabres aren't as reliant on the big-time defenseman. I'm sure they see the Hurricanes raising the Cup last year and say to themselves, "That could very well be us next June."
Point projection: Chris Drury, 35-41-76 It's a contract year for the Hockey God.

Here's the link to the column, some of his song choices are spot on, and funny.

FINALLY, the Habs win their first of pre-season, and they do it in style. I hope Latendresse makes the team.

Ugh, what a horrible game by the Flames last night against San Jose. Too many bad turnovers by our defence, and Kipper was VERY rusty. To be fair though, he's only played 1 1/2 games so far, but he's gotta shake off those cobwebs before the season starts. Thank god it's only pre-season.
As for the offence, Iggy and Tanguay are looking good together, and they always seem to know where the other one is going to be in the offensive zone. I'd say that's a good sign. Oh, and Huselius was amazing last night. If he can keep that up all season, then our PP is in good shape.
GO FLAMES!!!
