Agreed. Come on people, just relax and help a neighbour out. I also didnt recieve an email, yet did for all other sales leading up to this. Is that fair? Id say not. Pre-sales dont mean all that much anyways, and its not like the club shows they played pre-IBE release where there was maybe 100 tix available. These are massive arenas.

I respect anyone who comes on this forum, period. I think its awesome, people going out of their way to see a band they love. Theyre obviously into the band if they come on here in the first place.

Precisely. I didn't even ask for the password and it was PM'd to me, so there's no need to bite someone's head off for trying to help (especially when they weren't the first to post the password)!

One thought that comes to mind is the utter stupidity of the Hip Club process. It's supposed to be for diehards eh? Or is it for the diehards who buy IVL? As in you bought M@W and IBE and every other release but not IVL? NO PRESALE FOR YOU! Think about it. Including the membership card in an album was STUPID! Just think of the administrative nightmare of needing to keep track of millions of individual account numbers that will never be used. If I get an account with IVL, and then buy IBE I have no need for the new account number included. But it needs to be in a database somewhere waiting to be activated. I'm guessing this would be a nightmare. Maybe I'm wrong. But they should have chosen a different method for this club IMHO.

And as for posters on here, I joined a long time before I made any attempt in posting etc. I still dont post that much. And I'm considered a diehard by anyone who knows me. Ive done it all in terms of seeing this band, roadtrips, big shows, little shows, US, Canada, saw them in 80's 90's and 00's. Now I don't need the password as I had it emailed to me, but it bugs me to hear that people cant be diehards if they dont post 27 times a day. If you give it to someone who posts ad nauseum you should give it to anyone who asks. Bottom Line.

Yeah, well, it wasnt PM'd....so what? Are you worse off because of it?

Its a broken system. People paying good money to support their band are being deprived of access, purely on the fault of the hip club. If their system was structured a little more efficiently and effectively (ie EVERYONE gets a password, not just a handful of seemingly random members), Id tend to agree with you, but Id still PM the password to anyone that asked. But in this instance, a grave error was made, multitudes were left out.

So in this case, with such an error being made, Id say anyone who comes on the board deserves a crack at it.

now that is weird, because I received the email last night at around 9 pm. There shouldnt be a difference between how fast email from the Hip Club gets to americans or canadians should there? Confused

That was thehip.com email and not the thehipclub.com. I guess if you're not on both lists you could have got screwed, unless of course you simply logged in here and took a look around.

Anyone can sign up here, I can't stand these people who post once a year to ask for the password because they lost their card, actually because they are retards and don't have a card in the first place. I got so many PM's for the password, well F.U. and the Horse you rode in on!

Hey Mountainhip....just for the record i did pm you for the password(to which i had no reply) as i was one of the unfortunate one s that did not get the email with the password......(got the one announcing the dates but no password).....fotunately i did get the password pm`ed to me from a fellow hipbaser....hopefully we do not have to go this route again for the password and we all get our mailing lists sorted out.....i do agree tho that there are alot of leaches here wanting the password as i have been pm`ed myself from people wanting it for previous ticket sales.......hopefully we can all learn from this whole experience..get to know your fellow hipbasers and who you can trust!.....cheers
