The Hip should try and get on the bill at this festival. It is the biggest fesitval in the U.S. .It would be good exposure, they have had amazing line ups every year so far.

are you kidding!! The Hip would be a perfect fit. 3 hours of Dead of Friday and 3 hours of Hip on Saturday. That is as good as it could possibly get!

I went to Roo'03 and it is perhaps one of the ultimate highlights of my musical life. I have never seen a concert let alone a festival where everyone is just happy to be there and just wanna jam out to some good music. I personally think the hip would do very well on one of the smaller stages. While I was down camping I threw a little bit of phantom on the ole cd player and our neighbors actually came over and sat and listened to the whole thing with us. They really dig the non mass marketed sounds and even split a bowl of "Tobbacco" with us during thompson girl. :thumb: to the hip at bonnaroo.

I got to see just a wee bit of them, I was pretty new to the jamband scene at the time. For the most part I camped out right in front of the sound stage at the main stage. Couple of times I ventured off to see the likes of The Roots and YMSB. But usually you could find me on my big blue tarp jammin out to Neil Young and The Dead, Ben Harper, Allmans, Widespread. Kickin myself in the ass for it now but at the hindsight is 20/20.
p.s. Checked out the Hackensaw Boys and they blew me away.

Maroon 5.....Crap...I'm out.
Every time I hear a Maroon 5 song on the radio or tv I boycott that station for a 1 hour period...it's like a misconduct penalty for unsportsmanlide behaviour...simply unacceptible

the hip would not fit in at bonnaroo, they are not that kind of music. I was at roo this past summer and the people that go were mad enought that dave was there. It would not be a wise move.
