In a nutshell, the Hip are celeberties at least in Canada. What they do in their personal lives should not be questioned or irresponsibly speculated in here.
Bottom line IMO (which doesnt really mean anything..lol) The hip are the original 5 guys (i know they had a sax player in the early days). They all are succesful and have a solid career. They all look and act healthy as far as I've seen.
I've been involved with music and bands all my life and basically if there was a substance issue that was substantial, it would have resulted in the following. BAD PRESS, HEALTH RELATED PROBLEMS, A BREAK UP OF THE GUYS, HORRIBLE CLUNKER ALBUMS, TROUBLE WITH THE LAW OR SIMPLY SOME OTHER FALLOUT.
I've never met the band but to my knowlege non of these have been happening.

We have no way of knowing either way. The most we can do with this thread is say "Well, I think they do drugs." or " Well, I disagree." and that's about it. No one has any evidence or nothing... until Gord comes on himself and links us all to a movie where he's sitting on his couch shooting up or something. And that's not gonna happen. I personally thing they have, the extent of which i know not, and I don't really care either way. Everybody should just chill out anyway... it's not an impossible idea that The Hip do drugs and it certainly won't change my opinion on them.

Clearly they 'do' drugs if by that you mean ingest them. Just listen to 'Copenhagen.' But who doesn't? They always seemed too smart, though, to fall into the clichéd pitfalls of Rock and Roll, and that definitely includes flaming out on heroin.
