Well, it took me about a year, but I've finally opened up to Hail to the Thief. Wow, this album is phenomenal. Much to the chagrin of critics everywhere, Radiohead has stayed away from their guitar driven roots and has chosen a more experimental route for their music. I was once one of those who was pining for The Bends 2, but now I've come to appreciate the transition that Radiohead has made over the years. How many other bands could get away with writing a song called Myxomatosis (aside from maybe The Hip)?
Just thought I'd share with you all my rediscovery of this truly great band.

I completely agree with that one. OK Computer may very well be my favourite non-Hip album of all time. However, in the right context, the latter three albums are definitely of the highest quality.

OK Computer is definitely their "piece-de-resistance", but Kid A, Amnesiac and HTTT have finely demonstrated that they can evolve sonically and musically much like the beatles did. Everyone loves the Beatles "Revolver" but their latter albums are still undeniably great.

I still think the Bends is there best. Love it all but the bends is amazing. IMO
