The best fight I ever saw was not televised...but I was there for it. Big Zdeno Chara was challenged by Matthew Barnaby, back when he was a Ranger, and he was just as foolish as ever about who he was challenging, Chara used one giant arm to hold Barnaby away, and used the other arm to sock him four or five good ones before Barnaby just crumpled to the ice still swinging at air.

If anybody ever had a copy of that I'd trade anything!

i dont know, he really didnt even punch mccabe until he was on the ice, he just kinda tossed him around. i was happy to see chara off the ice for 5 minutes anyways....now if he'd done the same to belak, I'd give him a lot more credit
(btw i know that would be stupid for him to fight belak...a 1st line player vs a 4th line player, but still)

Marchmant is a tough bugger and his fight with Rivet is one of the best i've ever seen..making Rivet one tough SOB too.

their fight last year was my vote for fight of the year, both guys going toe-to-toe, it was great

Domi is as tough as any of those guys, he just doesn't show it as much anymore because he's actually been playing smarter hockey in the past 2 seasons, and has really started to contribute offensively here and there forcing turnovers getting assists and even scoring the odd goal or two. Calgary's Oliwa (sp?) is one tough cookie.

I kinda admire Domi for what he's done. For years I hated him for his style of play but now Wade Belak and Mik Antropov (coincidentally both Leafs players...) have taken over that role. I think it's pretty cool how Domi has turned into a gritty but skilled player, whereas Belak and Antropov will always be playground bullies and nothing more.
