Maybe I'll have to check again tomorrow....

Those should be some of the best seats you could get at The Fox, I would think. I believe most of the prime seats are sold to season ticket holders. It will be interesting to hear if you come up with better seats tomorrow. I could be wrong, but I think it's a hit or miss thing when anyone uses TicketMaster.

I bought two tickets for a friend at the same time you did and got F6 Row T. I'm relying on a ticket broker to get the best seats available. Ouch, my wallet hurts already.

Got on TM right at 10:00....best seats available were F4 row T. Kept trying for the next 20 mins. Ended up with F5 row E...go figure??? Off to the right a bit but hopefully OK??
Never been to Detroit. Any reasonably priced hotels within walking distance of the Fox?

I do not know.
But isn't row BB behind the single letters?

yes, but it's dead center, and BB would make it the 27th row.
Sorry, I shouldn't be complaining, at least I've got tickets.

4 seats in F4 row U here...got that my first attempt at 10:02am and purchased. I then kept trying to see if there were better seats and until about 10:10 I kept getting F4 rows U then V then W...then the AA, BBs...then after about 10:20 it went to balcony.

The Windsor/Detroit radio station 93.9 (CDIR), which plays 80's and 90's rock, has been advertising The Hip concert regularly. (Even though I never hear them play The Hip). I have read an announcement of the concert in every Detroit paper and The Windsor Star.

Should be a great start for the US leg of the tour. :thumb:

I went to the last exhibition game for the Detroit Lions at Ford Field tonight. Ford Field was built directly behind Coamerica Park where the Tigers play. One must pass the Fox Theater, where The Hip will play in Detroit, to get to the stadiums. It is directly across the street from the ballpark.

I was pleasantly suprised to see in bright lights on the huge marquee of The Fox:

The Tragically Hip
Sept. 18th
Tickets On Sale

I'm guessing well over 15,000 people passed by and may have seen that. Approximately 30,000 people were at the game, which is less than half of Ford Field's capacity. The Fox is on Woodward Ave., the main drag through downtown Detroit.

Here is the link I posted earlier in this thread for the Fox Theater. Scroll down to the picture of the marquee and use your imagination. You will see what I and many others saw.

My excitement level went up about three notches when I saw that!! :jump
