I'm going to suggest a Saturday night get together for any Hipbasers who can make it in to Kingston the day before. I'll gladly be a tour guide of sorts, showing people all of the Hip related highlights in Kingston - and maybe even a drive out to The Bathouse.

If you are with a group, looking for a cheap hotel, stay at the Howard Johnson, and ask for one of the family rooms with 3 double beds. Super cheap, and when I last stayed there, we slept 10 people in the room, and the hotel staff didn't say a word.

How late will this party go? I'll be hitting Kingston 3:30 in the morningish... If the parties still rollin', I'll be there.

Well I was gonna skip this one but that just might be the thing that does it for me. Though I will be strapped for cash due to school. (Those first 3 hip shows took a lot out of my pocket :wink: ). Once the ticket price comes up I will try to make a decision. Life is tough!

I start grad school on September 9 (I think...seems like the kind of date I should know about). I was also supposed to be playing in my family's annual golf tournament on the 12th...but such are the sacrifices one must make when the Tragically Hip play Kingston.

Nah, at U of T unfortunately; in on the verge (heh) of taking a couple backwards steps in my personal evolution (from living alone to living with the 'rents, from Queen's to U of T... )

Of course, I'll have been in Toronto less than two weeks before I'll be running back to K-town. Let the good times roll. :thumb:

Wow... donated to Dean, and ended up with a scream! I feel his pain.

But as for me, Bah... it's not that big a sacrifice, most of my books are history books, and it aint like stuff's gunna change! So it's HIP all the way, easy choice!
