I don't really collect the McFarlane figures, but I do have the Metallica ...And Justice For All stage set and Steve Yzerman (with the Cup) made by McFarlane. The detail on them is amazing. The Metallica stage even has working stage lights and plays part of One (in synch with the flashing lights.)

The only Macfarlane figure I really want is the Bob and Doug MacKenzie set with the cases of stubbies and donuts and the Great White North Background. They even have there best quotes when you press the button. The only problem is finding them.

I saw the Hansons set one time at Wal Mart so I bought 3 of each brother for about 7 bucks each. We opened one set and have two sets still in original packages. Those are by far the coolest, even their glasses are shattered, jerseys dirtied, they have the old 70 skates on, haha. If you put them together with the rink set up it looks like they are chasing after someone with sticks swinging. There was a lawsuit about these, something about lack of permission from the real Hanson bros, so they were pulled from shelves. Keep an eye out on eBay, they're great.
I collect hockey ones...my collection includes Forsberg (series 1), Forsberg (Series 7), Forsberg (Vintage Quebec), Naslund, Bertuzzi, and Patrick Roy.
I really look forward to getting the two Gretzky one's that come out later in the year. I'm hoping one is an oilers w/cup, and maybe a LA pose of scoring the record breaking goal, or in a NYR waving good-bye after the last game he played!
Also, I bought a Lebron James figure with hope it might be worth something some day...so far he has lived up to the hype.
I have a Drew Bledsoe one too, if any Bills player is released I'd buy it. I'm hoping for a Eric Moulds or a Takeo Spikes figure soon!!
These figures really make my starting lineups look embarassing, the detail is unbelievable. And he keeps em coming.
I know there is a Ray Bourque Boston one and Patrick Roy Montreal one that already go for like 250-300 bucks.
check em out here.... www.cmdstore.com they have the largest selection!

Yeah, I just saw the Gretzky pics on the site, very nice...I think these might be hard to come by...I hope they are not under produced and I have to resort to spending big $$ for them. We'll see soon enough!
