Could be a tech's setlist--the stuff written next to the song titles looks like instructions re instruments. It certainly looks nothing like the setlists you see posted on the official website.

that is a FRAUD!
First of all, the soundguy's setlist is the same hand-written one that we see at thehip.com. The sound engineer never gives them away at shows, but he parted with the one for the Olympics concert here in Utah. I have in my house! It's the same as all the others.
Secondly, the eBayer says that there are no marks or tears or scratches on it. Surefire indicator that it is a FAKE! I have setlists from three different shows, and ALL of them have marks, wear and tear, etc on them.

not to mention since when does anyone in the band need to write down notes on songs that they have performed literally hundreds of times? Grace, Courage, Poets, Meridian NewO? Come ON! What a joke.

i love it -- i say Fake!!! BUT why in the hell would someone go through the trouble of typing "song notes" -- not to mention -- it would probably be easier to go on the website -- save the picture (also to be used as the sell pic) -- print the picture of the setlist -- and just trace it with a Sharpie -- of course they'd have to crumple the paper a bit because i agree -- i have never seen a "mint" setlist -- i think i could be convinced of that more than this one!!!! i guess the only way to find out is to email the link to someone with thehip who can actually verify it!!

i know the hip often change the setlist up but they played NOisbeat not family in the first encore

The setlist is written as per the actual TO setlist. As has been mentioned previously, they were supposed to play both Are We Family and Fully Completely, yet it got changed in the end.
Either way, I would much rather have a setlist written in that all too familiar hand writing than this one any day.

Some people will do anything to make a buck! Chris is right - he does have the setlist from the sound guy and it is written in the all-too-familiar hand writing we have come to love.
Regardless of whether or not this is authentic, the point is - someone is selling this for $15 USD and it's not right.

I wrote the guy asking him about it, stating that I believed it to be fake, as none of the setlists I have or have seen in the last 12 years have looked like the one he has...here is his response:
I work at the venue and have backstage access for all the shows. This set list was provided by the bands tour manager which is why the sheet is not ripped or torn. I have worked at the venue since 1996 and I guess the backstage pass I have in my hand and my cheques from the amphitheatre are all fake too.

I still find it disgraceful that, fake or not, somebody would try to make a quick buck by selling something like this one eBay.
