I once watched the Hawk play a stunning version of 'O Canada' on his guitar at Exhibition Stadium in Toronto. The guy just does everything well... and holy gawd does he have road stories...

the lowest of the low call buffalo home. they're really big here. i guess the're looking for a new record deal and shopping the new disc. the wait has gone on longer than guns and roses's "chinese democracy." i've caught him solo 2 times and the low about 8.
but they need some new tunes and soon..........
what kind of road stories????? hmmmmm

Speaking of the Lowest of the Low, I don't think they've ever played a show with the Hip. I don't think Ron is much of a Hip fan, but who knows?? The Low are legendary in Toronto, so I'm sure the Hip have heard of them and know who Ron and boys are. They're one of my all-time favorite Canadian bands, and I'd LOVE to see them do a show or two with Das Hips. Sadly I don't think it'll happen.

1. that acoustic revue next weekend by ron hawkins and friends is gonna be great.
2. Ron has had a beard
3.they've never played together
4.the hip do know about them (see mod club show where he mentions them along with the weakerthans)
5. the lows new record comes out sept 21 on maple music records.

yep.......and you'd figure there paths would have past with there new cd's being produced by steve kasper.
i think the low wouldn't be too keen on opening up for anyone.
i cant believe the release date is that far away. the album is done.
its summer, lets rush it to the public.
