..i'm assuming that you are everywhere would kick off side 2, and what a way to start it off....if this was the case..what side would u like better?

2, simply because I'm not entirely sold on the "Downie Punk" of SKU and Heaven just yet. But I love everything from Gus on...

i would probably choose 2 as well, although i am really into the downie punk as you call it!!!

2 for sure. Second half is incredible..............perhaps in my mind because the first 3 singles (released early) are on side one and the second half is much newer to me as well as heavier.

I find myself skipping straight to Gus when I pop in the album. For now anyway!

I'd also pick side 2. Makeshift, Meanstreak, Heart of the Melt, Copenhagen, Family, and Josephine make for an incredible string of songs. Not that side 1 is lacking in anything. I'm just more partial to side 2. And for the record, I'm loving the punked-out sound on Heaven is a Better Place Today. Reminds me of old-school R.E.M. a little bit...especially the guitars.
