Every 2 years, like clockwork: we're spoiled
#1

[BNL] Drove downtown in the rain [/BNL] with a friend last night whose a big 80's hair rock, G 'n R fan. We were talking about how he'll probably be waiting for "Chinese Democracy" long after Beijing sees its first elected government.

For us Hip fans, these bi-annual summers come around like a familiar friend. Secret shows, album leaks, world premiers, let's hit the road.

We're a pretty lucky group of fans.

And this weekend is always the LONGEST isn't it?

Can't wait to get the real deal in my hands on Tuesday. And despite the occasional TM or management screw up or the lack of a concert DVD:

These guys really are the greatest band in the land.

Greatest Hits I dunno... but a Live DVD could showcase the hits and kill two birds with one rock'n stone.

"Like Clockwork" - Well put, I've always been thankful for the dependabilty of it. And these last four years have been even better, with a Gord solo record every other year! I hope the pattern continues till the day I die!

We are lucky, Here is to hoping that in the off years they bring back ARA. I have been hoping for one of those again since the last one in 1997.

Reading Gord mentioning it in an interview makes it all the better.
