We're planning a trek into Toronto this weekend...Friday evening until Sunday morning.
Anything family-friendly (we will have a 3 year old with us) that would be fun to do this weekend?? Any events going down?? Any parks or places that we just HAVE to see??
Any help would be appreciated.

Um, Kari...I offer this up more as a public service announcement as to the areas of the city you might want to steer clear of this weekend (not that there's anything wrong with that!!)...

That said, all the usual attractions (eg. Canada's Wonderland, Ontario Place, Metro Zoo, Centre Island) are running on full summer schedules, so there's lots of possibilities...For what it's worth, I'd recommend Centre Island www.centreisland.ca/ - we take our boys (4 & 6) there every summer and it's right up their age alley...
Whatever you choose to do...enjoy your stay, eh?! :thumb:

Kari,
If you and fam go to Centre Islans you can ride the swans that Gord rode in/worked on in the Chancellor video! Growing up in TO I have riden the swans a number of times and they are quite fun, as is the rest of the island!
Just trying to tie a trip to TO into something Hip related!
All for now,
Aaron
