US Road Trip
#1

OK...now that the opportunity to get tickets for the Canadian club dates has come and gone (congrats to those are were able score tickets), is anyone planning a road trip to attend some US club dates? Assuming the same venues and cities as in the past. BTW...has anyone heard when more dates are going to be announced?

ABSOLUTELY! We plan our vacations around Hip shows down south (how sad is that?? Smile ). Last tour we went to Orlando to House of Blues. This year, we'd like to hit Arizona, DC, and New Orleans. They usually always play in these areas. so I don't suspect a problem. No idea on tour dates yet. I imagine in early July things will start to get worked out with a US tour.

I'm all over traveling to the US. It all depends on getting time off work. But I'd like to do Chicago, Philly, and any other US cities on the East coast.

yea i'm thinking of doing the West Coast from LA (two shows) up to Van, or even from San Fran (two shows maybe)up. They always go through Portland and Seattle so hopefully i can catch four or five. It's definately going to be my vacation this year.

I would love to see them do an extended stand somewhere. I know i was dying to see them do the 5 nights in Chicago last time or 4 nights at the Wetlands around Phantom Power, but no money, bad timing led to those dreams downfall. But not this time!

All for now,
Aaron

Really, I thought they were illegal. I always take mine down on the way to TO. So, what's the deal? I heard if you get caught with one they make you run it over. Maybe it's just Ontario?

Fuzz busters are illegal in Ontario, but so is jay walking. It's not really a priority. Depends on the cop I guess. Buddy of mine makes the trip between Ottawa and North Bay every week and swears by it... but also has 2 (Count 'em...Two) $300 tickets and has had to accordingly replace two confiscated Fuzz Busters over the course of 10 years. (Buys them online from a European distributor)

Says the roughly $1000 spent over a decade is worth the time saved.

So, depends if you think it's worth it. I'd just say drive safe either way... just had a friend go in a car accident.

I'll be heading to Portland/Seattle as I missed the Vancouver sale....

So sad! Haven't seen the hip in like two years...saw gord last summer here in whistler.....left whistler a month before they played the boot shows....things are just not goin well.

I know its a desperate plea but PLEASE...I will shower you with bootleg casettes of the hip if anyone can spare a VANCOUVER ticket....make it well worth your while too... (not paying $700usd on ebay).
