I know it's 5 more weeks till taped shows can be released but DVD covers can start surfacing can't they? While we all eagerly wait for the release of World Container and the flurry of Summer Fling Hip shows, here is the DVD cover that Rory (wpghipfan) asked me to do for the Charlottetown June 30, 2006 DVD that he, his fiance Brandy, and Jamie (thehip11) taped.

I will be doing up an insert card for the menu picks, probably in a couple more weeks. For now get this one printed and put in your DVD case, waiting for the DVD.

Thank you to those who provided pictures/setlist used in the cover.

I tried to upload the cover to covers.hipfans.com but it just gave me an error and the FAQ on the site needs updating. If someone associated with that site wants to put it there, fill your boots. For now the image is hosted on my own website. The link is as follows:

Thanks for the compliments everyone. Probably be a few more covers coming from the next tour done by yours truly. I'm no graphic artist but I know enough about Photoshop CS to be dangerous.

I'm sure you'll all enjoy the show on DVD when it's released in October.

If anyone has a creative itch they need to scratch, feel free to create DVD covers for any of the shows this year as they will all (except Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Adele) be released on DVD...

Do you know of anyone with any decent photos that I could use if I where to make a cover? I could do some more Illustrative stuff if people would like that (I've got a load of artwork on <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.bengrubb.co.uk">www.bengrubb.co.uk</a><!-- w --> if you wanna get an idea of what I do Smile)

I sent in a bunch of CD Covers from the summer for all the audio junkies such as myself. I'm not sure when they'll be posted. I hope that they're all decent. I think I did (give or take) a dozen.

here's the utrecht cover I made. You'll be able to get a higher res version when the dvd is out.
