VS would make a good show opener
#1

yeah. i think it would.

the lights would go out and the area would be black with just enough light for the band to take the stage. bobby would kick the guitar riff at the start and then johnny would start in. then gord would sing...

"so the chemistry is.... " and when he says "set" the whole stage would light up.

man.. that would be awesome.

i think i am actually excited over this tour, unlike the IVL tour.. Confusedcratch:

I completely agree. The Hip need an impact song to start their concerts off in the right direction. I've always thought that song would be awesome live. Use it Up was good on the last tour, but the nights that began with Silver Jet just seemed to have a little more "umphh" to them.

The anticipation we all feel right before the Hip hits the stage. Could you imagine hearing that slide with the lights still out? Wow, give's me chills.

The Hip almost always open shows with something off the latest album, so I think you're onto something there. Vaccination Scar would be perfect.

that is a good call. But my all time fav will always be Grace Too for an opening.

On the M@W and IVL tour, Grace or M@W often followed the latest single. So I'm thinking we'll be seeing VS open, followed by Grace on the early tour stops.

I still think VS is still the strongest of the singles. Great song.

with swirling white lights!! i can see it now. grace too was always the king of openers and i'd like to see how this would compare. it has a shot.

I'm still thinking Summer's Killing Us would be a solid opener. The quick drum opening, and you know if Gord hits those high notes, it's all on the up and up for the rest of the show.

From the IVL tour, I still love seeing "Use It Up" being the opener. This song had the straight, beams of green light that pointed out into the audience bouncing to the rythum of the beginning of the song......THAT gave me chills.

Grace, Too still is the best!

Gord doesn't hit the high notes on the record so do you think he could hit them in a live show?
