Hey. I'm a NG convert.
Whorella is still around. A lot more Hip references than usual recently... At least in the titles of her posts anyway. I don't have the time, vocabulary or appropriate screw loose to actually read the things.

i didn't post that often to AMTH but always lurked, work kept me too busy to post very often but time has freed up for a bit now. I remember Whorella/Kathy-jo. It seemed to me that for a while in the early days she actually posted on topic and made some insightful comments, then it just all went awry, 200 line posts about the particulars of nothing inparticular. I think she's still around AMTH, one of the only ones left now that the hipbase is here.

those of you who were at AMTH sometime long ago....what was your handle? I was, of course, Cordelia. I haven't been there in AGES! Life got different...but I can check Hipbase out now and, who knows, maybe catch up with some regulars from back then...
oh, yeah, I used to post a fair bit....and had some very interesting "discussions" with KJ

I used to post over there all the time until I discovered Hipbase.
I never had a handle though. I just used my real name (Casey Routly). Whorella is an interesting character, but I certainly don't miss her at all. I don't think she knows this place exists, otherwise she probably would've been here months ago.

I just used my name, Kari. But I do remember bout 5 years ago there were two Kari's on the amth...so I was Kari #1. That newsgroup hasn't been the same in a couple of years. It's really gone downhill.
