The Euro version was manufactured in London and distributed only in Europe. It's got the London studio's info on the back and lists "Gord Durnie" as the front man of the band. And no "All Canadian Surf Club" of course.

"Gord Durnie!" That's funny but it pisses me off at the same time...
I always figured some guy in a studio yelled into the other room while he was typing up the info: "Oy! What's the lead singer's name?!" and when some guy distantly answered "Downie" with an English accent, the dude heard it as "Durnie."

Fully Completely or IVL.. I chose IVL because it's the album I still listen to the most.

Day For Night... no second thought. Day For Night exemplifies each element of the band at their best. There is so much creative lyrical and melodic transition within each song that it seperates the album from the rest. Fully Completely is a grungier album which would fit second best on my bill, but everything about DFN is tops...

I think i put FC tops cause it was the first album of theirs that I got, first of their songs i learned on geetar! and overall (if you want to start another poll) the best cottage album of all time!

I do have an European version.
But on that one, the name Gordon Downie is spelled correctly.
It is printed in Germany.

Cool... I guess that means it's the British version only... and that my e-bay find is all the more rare.
