thehip.com used to be on the ball. up to date news and when concert dates were announced you heard it first either from the site or thru the news letters. who's dropping the ball over there?? new management??
or are people still shaking the rust off from the offseason?? :x
p.s. no hipclub perk for darien lake sucks!! :x

I totally agree, for the longest time I checked thehip.com for the updates and stuff. And for there new album coming out just a few weeks from now there has been a scant few tidbits. I guess that could go for the hipclub.com as well. I was hoping to see some bar shows for hip club members by now but there is still stuff about the sars concert at the acc. Heck they don't even have the shows for Sudbury and Wasaga listed yet....what gives?

Agreed as well...Insted of teasing us with announcing shows weeks in advance, they're not even officially telling us..maybe the web guy is on vacation, who knows.

Slipped.
When you only update a site once every two years, you facilitate it's irrelevance. Think about it... if it wasn't for this site, we'd all be out of the loop on so many developments.
Boys, drop the current crew and pay Lance and the guys to run thehip.com.

I found fan sites had more info on the Hip than their official site, anyways.

It is actually ashame,
I was thinking that when I bought IVL and got my members card I would be in the loop. I don't know maybe they are going to put new cards in IBE and try to boost the sales. I love the hip and all that they have sent me since joining the club...... but please, please keep me in the loop.

Ya the HIP were on the Web early and considered progressive for that..... but now fan sites such as HIPBASE are where we all are to keep ourselves in the LOOP ! It won't do anything... but I am blasting off an email to them.... feel free to do the same anyone!!!!
If it's not Ross... it's there whole MARKETING plan on and off the web.
It is probably discussed for about 10 minutes if that.... too bad... This all could be a much more exciting experience for all each and every tour.

i totally agree the site has been terribily run recently.
Back in the day they had alot more to offer. I remember back during "the Trouble in the Henhouse Days" they even had a screen saver for download. Now they dont even have wallpapers for fans.
