Yup yup, great win last night. They were under attack for the end of the game but Kipper stood strong and kept them in it. They weathered the storm and Iggy set up a great goal for Monty! Good to see him pot his first playoff goal.

That was so awesome. What a great way to bring the entire city together! I haven't seen millions of people this excited since CNN predicted on election night that Al Gore had won. It's truly inspiring to be able to be here and see the pride - especially since Calgary now has home ice advantage! They could win it at home in games 4 (unlikely) or 6 (very likely)....it 's a great time to be here.

Welcome to the city groove. You've picked a good time for a visit. If you haven't already done so, head down to 17th and check out the party there after a win. Watch the game from one of the pubs down there or at one of the Schanks and you're sure to have a good time. Better yet, try and get into the dome for a game. It's unbelieveable in there.
Go Flames Go!!
edited to add: did you drive all the way here from NS? I saw a NS licence plate yesterday on my way home and the car was loaded up full of luggage and the like.

#!@$ YEAH!! How cool was that?!?
Calgary was all over those Sharks tonight. Kipper was incredible yet again. I'm eating it up. Donovon with a great breakaway goal, Iggy and Neiminen with great goals. Just awsome to take the series back to Calgary with a 2-0 lead!!

Alright!!! Got back to the city last night from a great weekend trip out east to London for both of the last Flames home games. Back to the city and they're winninng again! Flew the Flames Flag proud out East on the rental car but was only able to catch the end of the first home game and the very beginning of the second due to the lack of a tv at the London airport. :x :rambo: :x
Great game tonight though!! Ville fighting off the hook around the neck then throwing out a pass for the assist was great! As was the whole team tonight. :thumb:
Love it! I hope I can score some tickets somehow tomorrow. It's gonna go off here on Wed. night! They're still honking and cheering outside my apartment and I'm nowhere near downtown!! :thumb:

I could hear the honking from my house, and I don't live anywhere near a busy street. Driving around honking and waving flags sure is fun though, 'eh?
